Welcome to the Porkenstein BBQ Team and Ricky T's Barbecue Catering web site!

The Porkenstein Competition Barbecue team was formed in 2005 out of our love of good barbecue. We had no grill or smoker at all until we watched barbecue week on the Food Network. We started out on a small, inexpensive offset smoker. We learned the techniques quickly and soon had a desire to try our hand at competition. We finished 4th overall in our first competition and were hooked. We competed in the Backyard Division in one contest in 2005 and six in 2006. Because of our success in the Backyard Division we have decided to move up to the pro category in 2007.
